The average annual income in Africa is $220/year. Working an extra 8 hours over the course of a year -- would allow a family that got the money to double their income. Money way better spent than $400Billion making the world hate us and encoraging encoraging muslims to become terrorists...

The government should be the one saving and not the people who they encourage to work overtime in order to send money to Africa.

Ok listein giving them money will do what? give them money to feed all of them then what they will want more money if the demmys really want to help them send them supplys build them hospitals and other things to help restore their government and maybe one day in a hundred years they will be like the US and be able to help other countrys so no i wouldnt work extra hours to give them my hard earned money

sweet, i can work extra so some liberal red cross guy can get more money to spend time hiking around Africa...oh wait, maybe the money would be better if sent directly to the drug lords that are going to end up with it any way.. Or maybe instead of bob barker saying "please spay and neuter you pets" we could broadcast commercials about "please spay and neuter yourselves', were sick of taking care of you, stop spreading AIDS to our country, Overthrow your entire government, start fresh and take notes...

Why would I do that? I don't believe that the government should spend money in other countries, neither through military or humanitarian works.

I am a humanitarian, but, if African`s living in poverty and starvation cannot feed themselves, why are they still breeding ? They should be sterilized, end of famine.
