for me it's Food, rent then transportation if need.
Summer time and fall is the easiest times
to get food even if U don't have money! There's all kinds of edible wild plants in the bush
You don't even need to read a book to learn what to eat. Just watch the Rabbits and see what they eat. It's been said anything a Rabbit eats is safe for people to eat! To get money you can do things like gather up pop cans and beer cans. Lots of people doing that now a days. U can barter somethings U don't want for food. Or yard sale. Money is necessary if U pay rent! Myself if it wasn't against the Law in Canada I'd probably be living in a cave
in the summer and fall. Rent only in Spring and Winter. I know someone that does so he doesn't care about the law. Al. W. Demar'
(note the last name is not complete that's why the apostraphe. He doesn't want Canadian Law to know about him so I haven't said his full last name! Read Harold Sherman's Book
on How To Live For next to Nothing and his other book How To Foretell The Future!

Rent first - Have to have an address to receive many types of assistance, employment, etc.

Food second - This used to be the last priority, but shortages in donations and funding for food banks are dropping and the resources that used to be available have disappeared.

Transportation last - I have been homeless and was nearly always able to find a ride to make appointments.

Um, without food you'd be too dead to take the bus or pay the rent.
