To me Top 3, But I have been looking at the mock drafts others have been saying #10 or #12 or 2nd or 3rd round which is total BS.
And of course Mock draft predictions have Brady Quinn as the Number 1 pick which is crazy as heck! The guy came in 3rd place for the Heisman Trophy and his team got their socks knock off at the Bowl game against LSU.

Any Predictions??

I think Troy Smith is better than Brady Quinn. I've watched OSU games this season and Smith looks like he is in control of the game all the time. He doesnt look worried at all.

Troy Smith isnt a 2nd or 3rd round pick. He is a 1st round top 5 pick.

Heisman trophy or not Troy Smith wont even be top 10. Just b/c u win the heisman does not translate into success in the NFL, and Brady Quinn is alot better QB than Troy Smith is. So is JaMarcus Randall who will be the second QB chosen if he decided to leave LSU for the pro's.

Not trying to be an a** but u obviously dont kno to much about football...again just b/c he won the Heisman does not put him as a top pick and it does not mean he'll do anything in the NFL. Many Heisman winners have pretty much flat out sucked at the next level, and to be honest Troy Smith isnt a good enough QB in my estimation to make it. He will get his shot as a backup QB or something but I believe that if he doesnt switch positions he'll never be a full time starter, he just simply isnt talented enough behind center to do it.

I say he's picked somewhere in the late teens early 20's....

Quinn just faced what in my opinion is the best team in college football, yes LSU has lost twice but playing in the SEC is tough, its not as easy as going against Big10 competition. Their losses are to Auburn and Florida, two outstanding teams. They are the most complete team in football, Randall has really come along and their defense is STIFLING! Weiss had alot more to do with the L than Quinn did. Credit LSU, discredit Charlie Weiss, but dont get on Quinn, he could have played better but all around he played ALOT better than T. Smith did this year. Oh btw Brady Quinn won the Maxwell Award - which goes out to what is considered the best quarterback in college football!

Troy Smith has to pass into the NFL Draft this 12 months because of the fact his college eligibility is complete. he's a senior and for this reason has no threat to return to college to play anymore. check out the Mock Draftboards which are available to ensure his projected draft place.

Well with Oakland having the first pick and making as major investment in Aaron Brooks (not smart) I gotta think that they're gonna either take the OT from Wisconsin or trade down for more picks and then Detriot is gonna go with the stable pick of Brady Quinn. I really think that Cleveland will take Troy Smith. Keep him in state and try and set up another Lebron type marketing scheme.

Early second round at best, Troy Smith is a short Quarterback the reminds me a lot of Ken Dorsey, a quarterbeck that did everthing in college and nothing at all in the pros. Troy Smith has a whole lot of talent a round him, that people like Brady Quinn, Jarmarcus Russell, and Brain Brohm do not have.

Remember Demarcus Russel on draft day -- he is going to looked real good in Silver and Black. No1 draft pick. The Raiders will not make the Texans mistake. Louisville Q, Smith, Quinn, Leak. This is the year of the Quarterback. Vince Young have shown you can win with the right quarterback.

the raiders could use him but they could use a ton more help. troy smith deserves to go to a team that has a chance. he is a first round draft pick but look what happened last year with reggie bush. no one seen that comin. go bucks osu-7.5 is a lock

I am a Tampa Bay Bucs fan I hope that we get Troy Smith.mjcalohan for your info Cleveland and Tampa are going to flip a coin to see who is going to get the third pick. I thaught that Cleveland would get the third pick because we beat them but what the hell I like the chances.

I would definitely say top half of the first round, but you never know. QB's are known to fall. It's not like he's Vince Young.
