In the first place, I don't think the murder in Iraq has got anything to do with Saddam.

nicely, no person and the Iraqi human beings. no person has ruined Iraq. in reality, 50 million everybody isn't loose and living in democracy for the 1st time in historic past. Iraq's treasury has a multi billion greenback surplus which will, i'm confident, bypass to repairing the infrastructure of this usa. And the Iraqi courts that discovered Saddam answerable for homicide are responsible for his being hung...and good for them. yet yeah, you're genuine. better to 'stay' in peace decrease than a psychotic murdering tyrant than freedom. What have been we thinking?

On the topic of the "lessening" of violence/murder in Iraq, you need to begin broadening your resources and listen to international news. If you're not listenting to what's being said on international news stations, then you're not really getting "all sides of the coin", now, are you?
The hanging of Saddam Hussein on an Islamic holiday was quite disrespectful for all Muslims, indeed.
Why?
Not because they liked him or approved of his past murderous acts, because they most certainly DID NOT; but because, it seemed quite coincidental that he was hanged on an Islamic holiday AT ALL, don't you think? Now, why, out of all 365 days out of the year, was that particular date chosen?
Now, if you were doing your homework and tapping into all your resources, at home and abroad, you would have figured out by now, that it was a disrespectful act to hang a Muslim (good, bad, murderous, destructive to humanity, whatever) on an Islamic holiday.
It was a symbol of disrespect to Muslims that a "Muslim" was hanged on an Islamic holiday that caused them to react, not the death of Saddam himself. They wanted him dead, but not on an Islamic holiday. This is what caused their anger.
Example: Say our Commander in Chief committed horrible acts of violence against others on the exact same parameters as Saddam, and he was sentenced to death by hanging, and this date was to be set on Christmas Day. Say someone arranged to bring in a camera phone to record and publicize this death by hanging. What would the reaction have been by all Americans from that point?
I rest my case...

That all depends on who you believe. I personally believe the murdering in Iraq is worse than ever.

I don't think so, I think you should wait and for some times and see, in fact this will not be only reducing but the execution will increase the violence in Iraq as it is adding on the number of enemies of America and its puppet government in Iraq.

Sadam was not on the control attacks before his execution also if you think the execution can reduce the attacks.

Meanwhile this will in America's effort of torching civil war in Iraq among Shiite’s and Sunnis
