Don't like tampons except for swimming. I always manage to leak.

Pads.
Tampons cause Uterine Fibrosis because the lining never fully sheds and it stays in there and the body tries to reabsorb it and it just can't, so it becomes a fibroid over time.
Pads are a drag but it is better than the problems that tampons cause like extra long periods, heavy bleeding, extreme cramping.
With pads the length of time you menstruate is shorter because it allows the uterus to get rid of the lining with no barriers.

What is your question? Are you asking which are better? Tampons are less bulky, however can pose some risk like toxic shock syndrome. Pads at night for extra protection.

it depends on your lifestyle. If you are laidback and not extremley athletic, then pads are good for you....but if you are a swimmer, gymnast or dancer or really any other serious athlete, you will want to use tampons....they're a lot easier is you are an athlete

Erm depends what ones make you fill more comfortable. for me it will be tampons as you dont even realise they are there. pads are very uncomfortable and make you feel dirty. but try both and use what ones you prefer.

during my time, I didn't know how to use tampons. Now, the newer generation are used to both - use what you are more comfortable with.
