does this look impressive to med schools?

Very impressive if you can pull off a 3.5 GPA. Horrible if you get a 2.0.

They really only care what degrees you end up with and your final GPA. Getting good grades is your primary concern.

Generally, med schools say they don't care much what major you are. What they care about is whether you are at the top of your class in the subjects that are the required pre requisites for entering med school- chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, calculus and whatever else they require. You should look up a few med schools to see what they say, not be asking random strangers on Yahoo....
