It is very prevalent, even though it is not talked about...
Sad but true, such things as ,what we learn from our parents and grandparents , tell us there is no such thing as suicide.
I have friends from all walks of life, we all have the same issues, trials and tribulations ( maybe at different levels)
There is a certain pride that comes with being African... I am saying this because I was born and raised in West Africa.... Pride will not let such a weakness as suicide in....

almost whole generations in the black community has been destroyed because of death & destruction. do to gangs, drug wars & just plain neglect.from the ages of say 14 or15 up the early 20's. the cities are the worse of course. but has been more wide spread. the real sad note hear is that it's all the human race that is loose-ing it's young to the people like the Bush's, the Cheney's, the middle eastern radicals who want blood shed instead of pease. So beware of whom u give ur sons & daughters too!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Less prevalent. Elderly white men are most likely to commit suicide because nothing bad has ever happened to them, and then they retire and can't handle the reduced respect they get.
