This has to be a record for U.S. politics. ( I agree with some of them wanting to end corporateration perks for members of congress)

Of course. They're Democrats. I expect things to get much worse.

I am so dissapointed in both parties, I am about numb to anything else either one could do now. When they grant amnisty to the illigal aliens that are living here, what is the speculated count 15 20 million? And these now legal aliens turn around and sponsor 4 or 5 or more of their family and friends which will bring the number to what? 100 million and growing. It won't much matter what the repo's and the dems are squablling about in their fancy offices.America as we know will not be the same in 5-10 years. And it's all our fault for letting government get so damn big! It truley is a case of the tail wagging the dog..We let them all grow so fat and full of themselves that they can't see past what's important to them, votes and lobby money. they have no vision for what's good for America anymore. I'm glad I'm old and won't be here to see the worst of it.

They haven't been sworn in yet...Don't blame the Dems for the GOP lack of Leadership. The GOP controlling both house of congress and the white house...squander a chance to do great things for this country. The GOP placed its members EGO ahead of the NEEDS of the country and you got spanked for it. So instead of sounding off with sour grapes...go back to your party and get your own house in order. Your group strayed from its core beliefs without any help from the Dems. Your party spent more money in the HISTORY OF ANY GOVERMENT ON THIS PLANET.

Quite possibly. But doesn't that usually apply to Democrats AND Republicans? I'm not siding with anyone, but come on, it's politics.
