Do you think that it is correct and or legal for churches to house illegals and then hold press conferences about it? Do you think that if a CHurch does this should they lose their tax-exempt standing?

The lady I am talking about has had several press conferences and sent her anchor baby all over to gain support!

An anchor baby refers to a baby an illegal parent has in the US and then claims benefits for thru our welfare system. The person I am talking about in the church thinks that she has the right to stay in the US even tho she has been deported once before and has recently been ordered to leave again! She is using her child as a pawn!

A Christian can only disobey the law of man when it conflicts with God' s law. The Minister is actually bragging about her behavior everytime she gets a camera put in front of her face.

Sanctuary....Not necessarily and I think INS has been most gracious. I would however question the ethics of a minister that violates the law when a life is not being threatened. He should advise her to do it legally and remember Romas 13. He's not a real Christian in my line of thought and neither is she.

The idea of sanctuary does not and will not hold up in a court of law. Illegal aliens and the churches that support them are both breaking the law. The Church is not exempt from the laws that govern our country. They should be brought to court for harboring criminals though I doubt it will happen.
Jesus may not have asked about anyone's nationality but he did say "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesars". Jesus did not lead a revolution to over throw the laws of any country. He tried to lead a revolution in how people thought.

There is no law that says a church is a sanctuary. Law enforcement can (and will) come in and take illegals out. The reason they go there is to court sympathy.
As soon as they hubbub dies down they will be taken out, just watch.

It is illegal for anyone to do that and churches are not exempt to the laws of our country.
Yes they should be disciplined in some way.

The church is trying to force our gov't hand into making a practical illegal policy--Kudo's to them. Obviously our leaders do not respond to anything that don't have oil implications, maybe the Church can get through.

I think the police need to go in and enforce the laws. To me, if you're breaking a law, you need to arrested for your crime. I don't care who you are.

Of course it is wrong since it is illegal to assist illegal aliens.

It's horrible. Those bastards. They should check for greencards and throw those illegals out on their butts.

Jesus never asked anyone what country they were born in or what their paperwork status was, or even if they were criminals.
