bigger help to the Republican party. Obviousley neither of them actually help the cause that they think they are helping. Why is it out of 3,000 dead troops, the only parent being obnoxious is loud mouth Cindy? This is sort of a two part question. I just know that if I were an anti war person, the last person I would want on my team would be that awful Cindy. Michael has been kind of quiet lately, do you think some one told him to be quiet or do you think maybe he realizes that his loud mouth does no good? Answer the question any way you see fit. By the way, I am not a right wing Limbaugh type guy, just can recognize dopes when I see them.

Probably Moore. Sheehan did lose her son, so people cut her some slack for that. Moore has been shown to be such a hypocrite; what with refusing to employ union members and packing a gun, that he is totally discredited.

I don't think either of them do anything for either side...very few people take them seriously. And the ones who do already have their mind made up anyway; nobody ever changes opinion because of them. At least that's my take on it.
There is this big deal over "support the troops." Here's what's wrong with it: everybody's got a different meaning for it. Cindy thinks that supporting the troops means bringing them home ASAP, whereas people like me say that all that does is invalidate their fight and make worthless the deaths already suffered. I say what supporting the troops means is to help them win as quickly and decisively as possible with fewest casualties. The troops don't want to run from a fight. They joined up voluntarily, many since the invasion of Iraq. It is impossible to speculate that those people joined for any other reason than to fight for their country in Iraq and Afghanistan. To that end, the government and a large portion of the public has not been supporting our troops. The anti-war democrats breath down the government's necks so hot to keep troop levels at a minimum, and the generals have been refusing to request more troops b/c of political issues, al-Maliki isn't letting us disarm al-Sadr's army, etc. that conditions are set up for failure and the politicians will not/cannot change them for the better because nobody will let them!

Neither of them should be.

Michael Moore is an award winning producer. Just because his personal life does not perfectly mesh with his political stance, makes him no different than 99.9% of the rest of us.

We are not all Gandhi, and even he cheated with a little lemon juice in his water.

As for Cindy, she is a courageous woman trying to work through her grief. Some people are inspired to become something different when faced with a personal tragedy.

Who faults Adam Walsh for speaking out and becoming an activist after his loss?

Or how about the relatives of the 9/11 victims that lobbied Congress continuously, until the administration was forced to ask for an investigation and set up the 9/11 commission?

Cindy is in this same category. The only difference is that she wants to end the war to stop other parents from enduring a similar tragedy, instead of getting laws changed to protect children, etc.

I think the way she has been treated both in the media and officially by the President is a discredit to us all. This is the biggest reason for other families not coming forward. Who would want the grief from the media and the general public. They have targeted her to set an example of how "loudmouths" can be treated.

Not every one that disagrees with the President is a nut or conspiracy theorist. Some of us just know what is happening is wrong.

End the illegal occupation of Iraq

BRING ALL OF OUR TROOPS HOME NOW!!!

Telling the truth isn't always popular.

Both these individuals put themselves in republican gun sites to say what they believed.

If this stupid war had killed my kid I would make Cindy look shy and retiring.

You want to judge her......"sacrafice" Your child. Or shut up.

W will leave this war for the Democrats to end.........He won't give up a lost cause and he would like history to be kind to him, this is about as rational as any other plan he has cooked up.

Did you actually Vote for this moron?

If so, I hope your creator made note.
