I would say this is not my lucky day.
I live on the south tornado alley ,spring time its horrible we have everyday warnings,i used to be terrified all the time but after 11 yrs you get immune ,in California was earthquakes ,i choose interesting states to live .
In case of a fire ,i would grab my children ,and purse since all my credit cards are there ,legal documents are all inside of the safe i purchased just in case of a fire .
there i keep all my Ins for the house ,birth certificates ,anything i need if i was homeless.
I'm a person i think ahead .

If the tornado is already going to run over the house, I would go somewhere safe. And then go back and rebuild the house.
But I think that won't happen because I live in California.

Go into the bathroom in the basement and fill the tub up with water. In the bathroom there are usually no windows, then when the fire gets to the bathroom go underwater!
