The law of averages says they pretty much have to win one within the next five years... but here is why they always lose. Notre Dame is overrated every year because of their name and their history. They are continually placed in bowl games against superior competition ahead of more deserving teams. Playing LSU and Ohio State the last two years are perfect examples. They should have been playing a team this year like Rutgers or Nebraska, still a tough game for them but at least they would have had a shot. The bowl bias towards Notre Dame actually works against them! If they are going to win it will be because they will finally be placed in a bowl game against an evenly matched opponent like everyone else. Imagine that!

Disagree, and that's had to admit as a Cutler fan and a Bears fan. That 'solid D' is many years handed, and getting weaker each and every 12 months. the potential is unquestionably there, yet I truthfully do no longer see all of it coming jointly. to no longer point accessible are quite a few truly good, youthful communities accessible.

Next year they will be in the Outhouse Bowl where they will play Long Beach State and they will win by forfeit because LB state doesn't have a football team.

Yes, because the recruiting power of ND has risen a lot in the last 2 years since Weis took over, and it will start to show in more complete teams in the coming seasons
