If I bang a woman in a different continent (like properly there is ocean between us) while my wife is still at home, and I do it in order to relieve my stress, would it be cheating? I didn't think so at first because i still love my wife and the woman i had sex wiv ment nothing to me, but friend at work said it was cheating, so i feel a bit guilty now about my trip to Fiji, I dont want my wife to find out cuz, she will make a big deal and it will be hard to make her shut up (you know how women are). The truth is this was the first time i had sex outside our marriage and it was only in order to relieve my stress

Yes, it's cheating and I think you know that already. I would have to disagree that you had sex because of stress. If this is truly the first time you've done this there is a laundry list of WHY you did this and I believe that stress would come in at number 21. I've counseled many couples who have cheated and stress has never even come into the equation. I certainly hope that you had protected sex and that you didn't bring home a nasty disease to your wife. Some good counseling and some self esteem work would be helpful to you and your marriage. Good luck to you.

Anything that you do that you cannot tell your partner about is cheating!!!! Even if you 'chat' up a girl at the shop's but cant tell your partner about it, guess what you are cheating!!

Yes it is cheating. But I agree that it is not as bad as when woman cheat because when we cheat its just for the sex. We are not looking to replace our wives or to start an emotional bond with another woman. We don't even see the other person as human or in any way on the same level as the person we chose to mary. And most of the time we are happy with what we have a t home but we can't have it at the moment.

But when woman cheat it seams like they do it because they are unhappy in many ways and they are looking for some one they can trust and build an emotional connection with. They cheat emotionaly more than men do and eventually they take it to bed. Before they sleep with some one they share other intimate things like secrets and words of love. They acutally start to replace the "love" or the place in their heart that they had for us.

I think that both sexes cheat just as much but in different ways. We are looking for sex and they are looking for emotional bonding that they don't get from us when we are too bussy working trying to provide for them. While we are bussy trying to make them happy we need to remember that they can easily mistake that for us not caring about them.

Never the less what you did was horrible and I would never do that. You broke a trust that will never be the same.

The right thing to do is to come clean and let her know. Yes it will be hard for her but she deserves the truth. I tell her that you did not have to tell her and she would never find out but you wanted to do the right thing and you made a huge mistake. Sex is not to relieve your stress, woman are not something to be used at your whim, or just because you need to get your rocks off. Yes you cheated on her and from your attitude you'll do it again in a second. yeah, im sorry to tell you, its cheating weather you feel something emotionally or not. i dont think you should do it again. and of course your wife will make a big deal out of it, honestly, how would you feel if she did that to you? when someone cheats on you, no matter what the reasons, you feel used, and not good enough and i know that from experiance. so, just remain faitful to your wife. and find another way to relieve your stress. try going on a walk or riding a bike.

Come on, a lie is a lie, sex outside marriage is wrong, and there is something called self control. For u to do it, you had to think about it first, Maybe you don't really love your wife, coz' you didn't even consider how that would hurt her. People marry for convinience and perharps you did the same. Even thinking about another woman in bed with you is cheating its just that we are humans and thoughts cross our minds.
