well for starters he was a traitor and a slave owner,yet he drew up a paper(constitution)that said that all men were created equal,what a total hypocrite.

Not really. Given the context of the age in which he lived he was an extraordinary man. He had the chance to be King or Cromwellian dictator of the new United States. Instead he lived up to the principals he and others fought for. So when his term as President ended he blew out the candle, handed over the keys and went home.
He was opposed to slavery unfortunately expediency reined and it was left in tact. Still, he was the only President to free his slaves( admittedly in his will and after death).

I don't think he was despicable.If you live under a repressive system
of taxation as he did at the time the only way to break the repression
in dealing with a government and a monarch who would not compromise was the course he and his compatriots took.
A weaker man would not have lead well.The one big fault he had was that he did not always acknowledge the contribution that others had made.Here I am talking about Thomas Payne.

About the only ways I could find were 1) He'd be known as a "player" now 2) He made his money on what now would be called land speculation.

the way he treated the Indigenous People was a tragedy.
