That depends. If you're so in love with a person, you may not be able to see all his faults. A neutral third party observer may be able to see much more clearly and be non-judgmental about both his strenghts and weaknesses.
If your family, friends and almost everyone you know tells you one recurring fact about the guy you're with, maybe you should take a closer look. I know sometimes family members can be biased but if everyone else starts to tell you the same thing, there just may be some truth in their words.

No you should only listen to yourself...Take what everyone else says into consideration..b/c they are not blinded by the love and newness of the relationship..But in the end you are the one that has to live with you decisions each day no body else does..So do what makes you happy..Life is to short to live it for others..

yeah, u should definitely hear them out...
parents are there for a reason and I regret most of the times I didn't listen to my parents...
friends, well, some friends have better instincts than u do, but some don't... (goes both ways, so that was useless...)
so, my answer to you would be to follow your heart, who do u trust more, parents, friends, or boyfriend...?? always remember to play it safe, (I know ppl say if u don't take risks, u don't gain.. or smth like that... ) but believe me, u don't want to regret the decision u've made, cuz sometimes, it juz comes way too late...
sorry, maybe I went way too far there, sometimes, u can juz wait it out, youth is a wonderful gift... ^-*
have a nice day!! (^-*0)

Yes because if you only trust yourself and them, you're forgetting how the rest of the world sees it. Like if you were in an abusive relationship, you might think its okay unless someone told you.
At least consider some of their opinions.

So, is he the awkward one? Or are you awkward too? Or shall we call it shy, worrying and uncertain approximately self-worth and self assurance? lost of questions i comprehend, yet what's awkward approximately keeping palms and hugging? except of direction you're the two enjoying video games with one yet another's thoughts and neither has any purpose of doing what you're saying. I see 2 thoughts. You wreck the awkward bit and carry his hand, hug him and supply him the main important sloppy kiss surprising on the kisser earlier he has time to blink. Then, tell him from now on he has to do the comparable to you each and every time you meet. the different selection is to stop seeing one yet another. yet get exceeded the 1st bit and probably the 2nd selection will waft off into the abyss. stable success!

Sometimes parents might be right...but nevertheless I think we should make our own choices, even if we might be wrong. It's better when you make a mistake because you listened only to your heart then to make a mistake because you took others pieces of advice.
