I have been there and done that! When I was pregnant with my child there was nothing that I could do to keep him from kicking. I tried from drinking warm milk to rocking. And nothing seemed to help at all. I think when I was about in my 33rd week was when he finally settled down. Hope that this helps! Congrats on the baby!

Try changing positions; lift one arm up and down, or get down on all fours and push your back in and out gently (like a cat) this is called the Dromedary droop I beleive and is recommended during pregnancy. Also, eating small meals every 3-4 hours will help. I'm 20 weeks with my second one so I'm about to go through that again myself!

This worked for me
I drank Chamomile tea with honey/lemon
I layed on my left side and played soft music to him.
I rocked in a "glider chair" that movement really helped.
I took a hot bath, with my belly out of the water, the warm tempature helped.
I ate only a handful at a time and mostly liquid diet 8-10 times a day.
Best wishes

nothing work. Even thought they are in there they got a brain. My son kicked and kicked and kicked. nothing worked . I got sick my self, peed myself and other yucky stuff. Plus mine was three week late. all i got to say is that you got a healthy one in ya. just try and take it easy. that is what happen when your pregnant you get good and bad. bad to some is different then others like kicking

Masturbation. An orgasm seems to help. Somehow the muscular spasms seem to calm the baby...I say masturbation instead of intercourse, because in my experience, intercourse just seemed to excite the fetus even more! Just calm, quiet, masturbation...Good luck sweetie...

walking a bit sometimes lulls the baby to sleep (this is why babies can be more active at night when you're trying to sleep...)
sorry you've got such a rough kicker, mine doesn't bother me too badly (now that I'm 38 weeks, there is hardly any room for it!).

sit in a quiet room and rock and hum softly. rockers are good things to make them quiet when they are babies and im sure it would be soothing when they are still in there.

If you don't have a high-risk pregnancy, have an orgasm, even through masturbation. Works like a charm. :)
