The literal meaning of the word 'philosophy' is: love of wisdom. Philosophical pursuits in their essence, however, mean to search for Truth through study of facts in life; as it has quite aptly been said that facts are many but Truth is only one. It is commonly believed that by singularly finding the Truth connecting all things in life, the solutions to all problems can be found, and issues of moral, ethical and personal spiritual nature can be resolved. The search for singularly unifying principles for human mind is the main purpose of philosophical brooding. All philosophical thoughts eventually form the basis for conventional wisdom enabling people to extract practical wisdom, and to be able to live peaceful, happy, fulfilled and productive lives.
