Officially, no. In fact, the only copy of that video now rests in the hands of Terry Irwin, Steve's wife. The Queensland Govt took the bizarre decision to destroy their documented copy, to ensure no-one can get their hands on it without Terry knowing.

The link below is the Yahoo! News report of the handing over of the tape and subsequent destruction of the QLD official copy.

I havent heard about it being released and I doubt it will if it hasnt been destroyed yet. 100% of the Steve Irwin videos on youtube on his death are fake and disrespectful.

What? Really? That was supposed to be destroyed. Thanks for making this inquiry.

I checked. It's not. It is not released to the public. All the anxiety seems to be the result of some overly-enthusiastic people.

The video now rests in the hands of Terri Irvin, his wife. And I hope it stays that way. RIP Steve.

No, I really don't think that it's alright, but I will look on youtube to see if this question is for real.. I don't think that it shoud be released to the public out of respect for his family. But, if it BS I want to be able to inform people that this is just a hoax.
