if you were to hit the president what would be the consequences?

i was wondering what the normal charges are for this type of asult is, which is punching a politicain in this case bein the presidednt
do you get the same amount of charges or do you pay more just because it the president?

Technically hitting a polititian is the same as hitting any person, of course it's different in real life because they are like the mob and they would get revenge on you through the "justice" system.
Hitting the president is very very different, if you hit the president you are considered risk to national security.

First of all, it is deeply unlikely you would ever get that close.

Second, consider that our Government no longer requires a judge to stop them from entering your home, seizing your computer and arresting you as a terrorist. Not to mention tapping your phone and internet connection. No controls exsist anymore. Thank John McCain for this. Giving up this among other rights got him the Republican nod for 08.
