You have to be enrolled in a federally recognized tribe to receive whatever "benefits" that that tribe may offer.

Like I've said many times before. There is no such thing as "part" Native american. If you are, then be.

It's an honor to have lineage to any tribal nation, accept it completely for all that it is, not for some hand out that you think you might receive for claiming to be as such.

Honor your Native ancestry, don't claim it for monetary gain.

The cut off is 1/4 Native American and in certain cases can be extended to 1/8.

it's dependent on the native group you are part of, as to whether any benefits are available.
