Sure, some people don't mind being in relationships with partners who are married, if this is what you're asking. Not everyone is looking for a serious committed relationship, some are simply comfortable with having an interesting date with no strings attached.

Some might be just lonely and need just a little attention to perk them up a bit, but they still don't have the commitment. It is also easy to get out of without to much emotional damage.

others just settle for it as they really like the person. The person on the other hand may think there is enough of them to go around.

So yes some people are purposely 'bits on the side'.

Personally, I have too much self respect, as well as respect for others relationships....however, some women do get a feeling of power when they can bed taken men?! I don't get it, it's silly to think it's difficult or challenging to sleep with a womanizer....

Not sure bout how the men feel, but I'm fairly sure it's safe to assume most under 20 woud love it...it should be an interesting read.

Good Question.

my friend is choosing to be a bit on the side, she has being seeing a married guy for 6 months, he keeps telling her hes going to leave his wife and that his home life is crap, i think hes stringing her on!! he treats her awful and she runs in circles round him!!shes far too good to be a bit on the side. i personally couldnt be a bit on the side it would make me feel cheap and used. but some people get a kick out the excitement!!its naughty sex isnt it.. turns some ppl on cz its forbidden!!xx

SURE, some people find married men or women very attractive and jump at the chance of conquering the challenge of stealing the spouse off of another. If its GOOD then they'll be back for seconds...or thirds...

Some also like a no nonsense roll in the hay, especially from married people because 1. they know they wont tell and 2. they know they wont want anymore than what they get

if your old enough and wise enough to know what it completely entails then why not, marriage can be boring and staid, affairs can ruin or make a marriage last, it depends entirely on the people involved. Its a dangerous game but some people live by danger. As long as the risks are weighed up on all sides, kids, feelings etc, if its still worth that then why shouldn't people settle for it, .. its non committal, its fun its over as quick as it began. I'm not endorsing it nor condemning it, merely commenting.

Because they are weak people who need to prove themselves and this is the only way which they can. They cannot stand up to making decisions of choosing one or the other so they pick both.

Yes, there are a lot of greedy people out there who are quite willing to stay in the background taking all the perks they can for doing so.

no and i think eventually the "bit on the side" gets resentful and expects to be more than just that.
