What is a good movie?
Depends on what you are looking for. For me, a good movie has strong characters, a strong plot, and purpose (I don't like "dumb" flicks, I like films I can think about and identify with). Do you like lighthearted films, or do you prefer darker tones? What genres do you like?
Here is my list of favorites. Most of these films are older, but in general I prefer older films over most of today's crap.

l love the classics. Like that of Liz Taylor, Grace Kelly and Vivian Leigh. l'm not that old but l like them.
