I took a pregnancy test, (negative) and I am on my first day of my second period since I noticed the discharge. The discharge is not leaking on its own, but if I lightly squeeze my breast it is still there. This has been going on for about a month now. My breasts are very very sore and tender. Do I need to worry? What could cause this?

It's your body adjusting to the hormonal changes. Your body probably released too much prolactin which would have caused the leakage. No problems...it's normal

You need to go get a prolactin test (blood test) immediately. You might have high prolactin levels.

This may occur after taking certain medication such as oestrogens or as a result of a disease. In this group raised prolactin may be due to liver or kidney disease, ovarian disease such as polycystic syndrome, when the thyroid hormone production is low, as a result of prolactin producing growths or growths of the pituitary gland and finally it may occur for none of these reasons so called idiopathic hyperprolactinaemia. This simply means excess production for no clear cause.

I read in a Cosmo one time that over fondling the breast or being to rough can cause a discharge, but it isn't harmful. If you are really worried ask your doctor.

If you have had a lot of breast stimulation you may have started lactating. It's rare- but it happens. You should check with the Dr. just in case. I really don't think it's a yeast infection.

see your doctor. You could have a hormone imbalance.

it's most like a yeast infection. You'll need to consult with your doctor to get medicine for treatment.
