Andre Agassi one of the greatest tennis players of all time retired last year. I am one of his biggest fans. Just wondering how things will be dfferent.

More than anything else, Agassi had the most unique and recognizable style. Short steps, quick serves and compact strokes and returns with hardly any backswing yet generating some sweet power.

What made it a pleasure to watch was how his contrasting style would fare against the opponents, be it the efficient sampras, the flambuoyant federer, or the hard working ones like hewitt. It was even fun to watch him take some weaker players to school, and I remember the bewildered look on many who were trying to figure out how he could pass them with seemingly no effort at all.

That is what the game will miss the most. More than the showmanship, the comebacks and all (I am hoping Baghdatis can carry on the torch for those), it's the compact style, which is very hard to imitate and may be impossible to duplicate.

It will be boring. Hopefully James Blake and Andy Roderick will step up to the plate and make it interesting. We really need a new star with as much personality as Andre had.

It will be just like it used to be.. I think Aggasi should have retired now long ago, in full glory, coz he tried and tried till the end to be what he used to be before.. but now there is the new blood, Federer, Nadal...so tennis will be good from now on too.

i don't think it's gonna be very nice, considering Agassi is not there anymore and that Federer wins everything, leaving no surprises
