The season starts the first of April, however everyone above is way off on when spring training starts. Players start to report in MID Feb, not in March or the end of Feb. A few teams play Spring training games starting Feb 26, mostly against college teams, but a few play each other. A full schedule starts March 1.

players usually report to camp mid-february. practice for a cuple weeks. oakland's first spring game is march 1 vs. the brewers. 1st regular season game is April 2 vs. seattle home opener.
