In a unorganized territory you probably pay lesser property taxes and you will have fewer, if any, public services. ie: water, sewer. The state that you live in pays for any service that you have like street lights and tuition for your children if they are in a public school nearby. This usually reduces your property tax. You are taxed by the state and not your town.
Usually if you are in unorganized territory the rules for building are more strict, I think. LURC regulations vs. town ordinance?

ADVANTAGES :
you usually have more freedom to build whatever you want on the land (no covenants or restristrictions)

ANIMALS !You can have modest amounts of domestic animals......

Mostly unpaved roads

Restrictions are usually non existant !

LOWER TAXES !!!!!!!

DISADVANTAGES :

LOWER TAXES .= a lack of infrastructure.... you will probably be on a well that you will have dug.

Because of that lack of a public/ city water system you need a septic tank for your water waste (poop) etc.

Police Service and Ambulance Service is slow.very slow
Fire Department is usually volunteer .Village you live in has to buy firetruck..ooops ! more expense.......

There are some disadvantages but if you can TRULY afford it Go for it!

properly I stay in Australia so optimistically i will help. reward of england: *not almost as severe climate. that is forty c or greater in some aspects. elementary is around 25 - 30 c. *not as many risky animals - we don't have as many as people think of, yet in some aspects. they are actually not all on your outdoors. damaging aspects of england: *extra populated *not almost as sunny Hmm i can't think of of a lot else on the 2d. And to the guy who suggested they have seasons in England - it fairly is the comparable for something of the international too.
