I am an Avon representative with my website youravon.com/karendowell and am looking for advertising/marketing sites that actually bring business, and not expensive. Anyone out there have any suggestions? Please, no pranks or fake names.

craigslist is good.
Also try to find forums for your niche and include a link to your site in the signature. Do not spam them however.
Adwords is also quite good

There are a few ways to advertise online that cost you such as PPC and banner ads.

There are also free ways to advertise your business that you may or may not know about.

You can always try www.craigslist.org to advertise your business for free. I have advertised on there myself for my business & received several good business leads
