Any ideas floating around out there for promoting my small towns, 9 hole golf course? Not much profit so far, help!

You need to analyze your overall situation first.

You get more intake by 1) raising prices and/or 2) increase membership / players throughput.

If your tee time is pretty saturated, then it's time to raise prices, or add ancillary services that are profitable, such as relaxation spa, cafe, etc.

If you're lacking in membership, then it's time to start a membership drive, targetted to executives and companies that have such executives. Offer coupons such as buy 3 get 1 free tee times, discounted club rentals, and so on in order to get the word out.

Have you also considered taking the market slightly sideways, like getting in some younger players like high school and college students who wanted to learn how to play golf, but don't have time to play 18 holes? Maybe a "parent's day" where a family can swing clubs? How about inviting some golf pros and do a golf clinic day?
