I have gotten some good answers about things important to me. I have also seen things that I felt were important but did not feel qualified to answer because they were questions that carried more weight than just my opinion. I felt they needed some advice that was more expert in nature. Then I have seen some questions that were more suited to the Jerry Springer show..you know, "my boyfriend slept with my sister what should I do?" questions. I only answer questions when I feel there would be some benefit from my answers. But overall. I think it is a good site for a lot of things...and important questions are good in an open forum, if for no other reason it makes at least some people stop and think. I like this site.

It is unfortunate that there are many junk questions in here. So many, that often it is not even worth trying to find a decent question to answer. It could be a great tool, if only people would use it as it should be used. There appears to be a lot of silly teenager types that ask rediculous questions, and some people that have very vulgar questions. There are some sincere and legitimate questions, and sometimes good answers, unfortunately, many of the good questions get buried in the junk, but not always.

That's one of those continuum answers. On the one hand, if you are asking whether Clinique or Mac has the best eyeliner, you might profit from some answers from random people who, like me, are surfing.
Then again, if you are in the middle of brain surgery, and you need to know whether to cauterize or tie off a blood vessel, I would be afraid for you to depend on Y!A.

This site is mostly for intertainment but it is o.k. to bounce ideas off of others. It is a place to learn about people in general. Any one who makes a decision based on what they read here needs help.

It's an interesting way to get instant, and varied answers from people all over the world, but the answers aren't necessarily correct.

when i ask important questions, i always get those jackasses that try to be funny with there answer, and totally insult me, but then again, i also get good answers from decent people who know what they are talking about, so i would say yea, it is

some are good some are nasty anyway i dont really care about these nasty people its those who help are the one i really appreciate.
