I stained my suede shoes with honey at work, I posted the question, but I have no single answer to it so far :-(
Try using suede brush to scrub the stain. Grease and oil stains can be difficult to remove from suede. A very bad stain may make the shoes never look good again even after cleaning it.
Take them to professional cleaners.... Thats your best bet. I will do that as well ;-)

Try cornstarch, shake some onto the greasy spot and let it sit
for a while, then brush off. The cornstarch will soak up the grease
at least that's the theory. I tried it on a couple of things, didn't do
well on a coat, but did take a lot of the grease off a shoe. So, give
it a chance and see if it works for you.

Grease and suede? Sounds like you're out of luck. Anything you put on it that's strong enough to get rid of grease will probably ruin the shoes.

go to walmart and see if they have any suade cleaner
I think though on birkenstokes i would take it to a dry cleaner that cleans suade and ask them if they could steam clean your shoes. you can steam clean suade.
good luck.
