No hun!!!! Its quite obvious you dont have a clue about make up!!
Transulcent powder is a colourless powder - usually used over foundation to either set it that bit better - or to cover up shiny or greasy skin.
Powder is best not used on its own as it can give the skin a dry flakey appearance so you're best off sticking to using it over a foundation!

"Transluscent" powder acts much like a highlighter.... it only brings out highlights in general skin tones.....

whereas a "foundation" acts as a base... a make up base that is a "cover-all" if you will.....

The foundation will (or should) cover most blemishes and even out dark spots across the face.... A translucent powder will not do this......

Just remember translucent means it is light and can be seen through..... Think "radiant"... not "cover up".......

no it is rubbish, you want to apply this over foundation. i also find that compact thick foundation is the best not the stuff you apply with your fingers as that is hard to get even. a compact powder is also better than the loose powder as you can look to much like a porclein doll with the loose

No.

Powder is part of the foundation. It helps set the base and make your face look less shiny. You can wear powder alone, but it's not as effective.

It's not the same. Foundation is mainly used to cover blemishes and even skin tone, while powder is used more to prevent shine and oiliness.

Guys shouldn't be using foundation, at least so that the pores don't get clogged. =_=
