This is a problem of the heart. It has nothing to do with your appearance.

As a man thinks in his heart so is he.

In your heart you think you are ugly and even if you were to go get extreme cosmetic surgery making you substantially more beautiful there would be one major flaw. Cosmetic surgery can't change your heart. You would still think you are ugly.

How do you think you make people that have lost their face in an accident feel? How do you think you are affecting those who were born with malformations? You would be causing them to fall into deep depression because if you, who have all your facial features in place are complaining and think you are out of place how out of this world should they feel.

Yet you know what? Most of them are happy and joyful people because they don't focus on what they don't have, they focus on what they do have. They focus on what they can do to help others be happy.

It is rather selfish don't you think that you are constantly seeking attention and approval from others trying to fix the symptoms of your appearance which mind you will only get worst as you age.

Have you ever thought that you are contributing to the fact that people see you the way you see yourself and that makes you feel worst about yourself still? Here is a story to illustrate this example.

There was once a room filled with a thousand mirrors and two little dogs go inside one at a time. After their visit they discussed the incident. The first dog said wow that was fantastic I am so going to go back into that room each time I get the occassion and I go past this place. The second said I will never come back here, it was totally depressing.

WHY?

The first dog went in with a smile, happy and content and when he first entered he was greeted by a thousand other smiling, happy and contentious dogs looking back at him causing his state to be even more so than when he walked in. However when the second dog walked in all depressed, angry and dissatisfied he was greeted with a thousand other dogs that too were depressed, angry and dissatisfied causing him to be even more so than when he first walked in.

Have you ever noticed how you respond to people based on what you have in your heart?

Your heart is mirrored on other people based on how you respond to them. You are really looking at yourself and responding to what you have in your heart regardless of what the other person is saying.

If you have love in your heart even if the other person is being utterly rude and obnoxious somehow you don't take it to the full impact that the other person meant it because it is covered in your own love and interpreted in love. If you have anger and fustration in your heart even if the other person is being quite loving towards you, somehow you have the impression that they are angry and fustrated at you because their words have being contaminated with the attitude of your heart

Think about it

I won't accept the concept that your face is ugly to everyone, unless the personality within you is also ugly.
Everyone really does have a different concept of what is beauty, and sometimes someone with different looks than the Brad Pitt type actually appeals more, because he seems more attainable, and seems like he might make a better partner, and might just plain be a good person (not to say Brad isn't).
Good luck handsome.

Truthfully, every person thinks that he or she is ugly, no matter what others say, they will always find fault in themselves in some way or another. The best way to deal with thinking that you yourself are ugly is to accept the fact and to know that deep down inside, every person thinks that they are ugly. Find comfort in the fact that You Are Not Alone.

And in my opinion you don't have to look at yourself so why should you care how you look?

ugly smugly
pretend you are blind, what do you see!!
people see only what they want to see, I am an old man but if I keep seeing an old man in the morning when I shave I too will feel old so I see a fit energetic young man thus sly I face the world as who I believe I can be not who I am in reality.
live life as you want to
not how you want others to
it is your life, live it your way, look into your imagination, not the mirror

Not that sure what you mean, but if you're trying to say you think you're ugly it happens to the best of us. you are your own worst critic and it may be low self esteem. try convincing yourself that you're not as ugly as you think you are.But then again it could be all in your mind, my mom is very pretty but she always alls herself ugly all the time, she'll put on her make up and it will look nice, she'll ask me how it looks and I'll say " your hair looks nice" then she won't believe it and keep saying it looks bad and then she'll take it off. Its a mind thing I think, but she's very pretty, I know I am, check out my 360 page, she looks just like me.

Accentuate your best features, keep yourself well-groomed, and smile!! It is incredible what a winning personality can do for a person's looks. When I first saw Jack Black, I thought, "Oh, Lord, what a dork!" but now I think he is the cutest thing walking!! It's all about attitude, carry yourself with pride and you'll be surprised by how much better you feel about yourself!! Good luck to you, my handsome friend!!!

Yeah, I thought I was ugly too, until I looked in the mirror and realized I was the cream of the crop.

So don't worry about it. Somebody else is uglier than you.

If you're ugly, you should dress like a million bucks. I don't mean just tuck in your shirt. Become slavishly devoted to your style. People who are well groomed are winners. Think how many ugly people run this country. F@ck looks. Style is everything.

I feel the same way as you do..
I try to accentuate my best features and play down the not so good features.

Remember that when people are looking at you it doesn't necessarily mean that they are judging your looks - they're usually worrying about their own imperfections...who knows - you could be staring at them and they're wondering what's so bad about them.
Everyone should be looking at what lies beneath our skin
but these days that just isn't enough is it?
We just have to try our best and if our best isn't enough then they aren't worth even worrying about.
