If you go to: http://www.dependablehost.net - and use them for your website hosting - you can get a free domain name - therefore shortening your current name as well as getting your hosting.

With their control panel - you can also have both domains go to the same exact website.

According The Domainblog (http://www.thedomainblog.blogspot.com/), you should register a new and shorter domain.

And later you may release the long domain to the public.

Your ISP can resolve ur problem !
you can make a new domain ...and whoever visits your older one, will be re-directed to the newer one

You've got to register a new or alternate one. If you already have a site set up, the new one can simply refer to the existing one.
