I was on the pill when i got pregnant, but my daughter was born perfectly healthy (thank God). i had to have an amnio to check if she was okay. I would make sure to let your doctor know you were still taking the pill and he/she will know better what tests to do if any. Good Luck!!

I was told 'no' by my gyn/ob when I had the same concern (I took the pill for probably 2 weeks after conception, not knowing I was pregnant).

I'm not sure if it could be harmful in other cases, but you're *probably* fine.

It is not harmful if you find out early enough. However, I'm sure prolonged usage would have harmful effects.

when you go to your first prenatal visit, ask your doctor. i actually just gave birth to beautiful twins in november, and still took the pill for about 2 weeks until i found out. but you shouldn't have anything to worry about. my babies were completely healthy!! usually you aren't taking it long enough to cause any damage, but i'd be sure to inform your doc when ya go in. just incase!

yes it could, tell your doctor right away that you took some before realizing you were pregnant.
