It was due to low ratings but I always watched the cape crusader especially in the Batman/Superman Adventures! Also, I think anime is the big thing now and that could have something to do with it.

Yes. It did stop airing because of bad ratings. Reason for bad ratings being that many batman fans just didnt want to cope with seeing a very old Bruce Wayne which degraded himself into being Alfred. It was such a shame that this series to be created. But even still. I was among the ones to watched it til the end. Cause despite that. It wasnt too campy and candy coating. In fact, it's movie was very good IMO.
But what really make me shame it the most is that not only the character Terry (the new batman) was seen with Static Shock. But it turns out in one of the most f'ed up plots in which he is actually Bruce's clone which is revealed in one of the last episodes of Justice League Unlimited.
A very shameful show. But still better than "The Batman".

A Batman cartoon needs to stay on the air, but this one blows. "The Batman"
Batman Beyond was good, but I thought it was crazy, How Terry ended up Bruce Wayne's son anyway?
If you watch Justice League Unlimited, there was a few episodes where the JL would time travel and see Batman Beyond. The episode named "epilogue" of JLU shows how Terry is really Bruce's Son.

l guess they had enough of Terry and wants to concentrate more on the young Bruce, so another Batman series was created.
l've watched all Batman Beyond episodes.

Because they aired the last episode name "Countdown" in 2001 and the series is over.
