I'm a nurse. You can ask for your privacy to be protected. They usually do a complete exam if you request it. I would ask to have certain parts of your appointment private for your protection. Take care.

If you're about to get married then your dad probably shouldn't be so up in your business. It is not a bad idea to both get checked out before you tie the knot. A general checkup at your age will not be a big deal. It would be nice to know that you and your fiance are both clean before you seal the deal. It really won't tell your dad anything. If you are over 18 then they shouldn't really tell him anything anyways. If you have something to hide then you should tell him before the big day. Don't be worried about it, they mostly will just ask you questions and stuff. good luck

IF you are old enough to get married then i assume you are an adult so your father will not have access to your test results he will only know what you tell him regular test consist of a blood sample urine sample and if your dad is worried that he your hubby may be sterile then he may have to give a sperm sample but it is strictly up to you if you trust that your b/f does not have any STDs and you do not want to take the test then inform your dad that you are making your own choices and he cannot force either of you to do test that you do not want to

Physical examination cannot determine whether a woman is a virgin. No western trained physician would engage in such an examination on someone els's behalf.

The only thing that a doctor can determine is that the hymen is still intact. The hymen may be broken for many reasons separate from sexual intercourse.

Are you in the UK? Is your doctor registered in the UK?

It sounds as though you may be asian but you do not say so, so this is a complete guess. If you are all cultures have diffrent opinions, I personally do not really have an opinion myself on other peoples beliefs. If you are not asian I would tell your dad to back off, as some other people have answered if you are old enough to get married then surely your old enough to have sex if you want.

There is no reason you need to be worried about your doctor telling your dad that you are not a virgin. If you are old enough to get married without a parent's consent you are old enough to have this piece of information to be kept confidential.
