Well, I suppose they would evaluate and treat you, if it were a life-threatening emergency. Some hospitals can turn people away, but most are willing to work with those without insurance.
But if it's an emergency, and you are "rushed" there, then it won't matter. You'll get treated.

If you are rushed to the ER, you will see a triage nurse first. They don't ask you about insurance. They are more concerned about your medical problem. If you are an emergent patient, you will be taken directly to an examining room. There is no way the doctor would know if you had insurance or not and it wouldn't matter to the doctor as most ER doctors are not paid by the hospital they work in, rather an ER Group Corporation. If you are admitted, then you would be asked about insurance, but you would be admitted regardless. At your discharge, then you can see the financial officer at the hospital and make payment arrangements.

depends on the situation. if its a life or death situation then they have to service you. if its not then they can deny service, its up to the hospital, its also upto the hospital to decide what is considered life or death

Nothing. They'd still treat you and then send you a bill, I would think.
