i was a child of divorce..when i was 10 and my brother 12...my mother left my father for a woman. you may think this is f---- up , but in my head it was never a bad thing. i understood that my mom wasn't happy unless her and my dad were split up and that she was happiest with her girlfriend. It was never an issue with me until our friends started making fun of us for having a gay mom...i never knew that was a bad thing until they pointed it out. but still to this day, i am happy with the decision my mother made, because it made me who i am today..a kind, open minded individual that knows only love for everyone and who is empathetic towards other people. I know what never to except as what some people would say as "normal"...I know what the right and wrong way is to be with someone and how you should be treated. it has been a great learning experiance.
