how do i propose to my SIM?

im playing Sims 2: pets and i have a girl living with me and i dont see an option to propose to her. she's an elder, but can we still have kids? and if so, how?

you have to make sure a heart is listed under her name. If it's not, then you want to start making moves towards her like flirting, impressing, etc. This will allow you guys to whahoo (which is sex in the sims world) after that you should be able to propose to her.
