If you can get a job at a nice restaurant in LA the waiters make alot of money in tips like 300 $ per night just pick a LA hot spot. Or you can become a paparazzi and stalk celebs and sell the pictures for big bucks! jk

I think that is a reasonable amount to live on...even in the Los Angeles area. Yes, you will probably have to look outside of Westwood to find an affordable place (unless you have a roommate to split costs with) and have a little bit of a commute to work.

i was a sales manager for a Yamaha motorcycle dealership in southern California for about 2 years. it was the best job i have ever had. you just have to be likable. people are buying toy so they are easy to deal with and they love you after they leave. plus it adds a new element to your life that can lead to so much fun.
and if you dont like it.get a new job..
