No, they are 2 separate games. Sims 1 expansion packs only work with The Sims 1. Sims 2 expansion packs only work with The Sims 2.

I don't think so. The deluxe expansion packs work only for sims 1 because their made for sims 1.

I won't work withouth the sims 2 being installed on your hardrive already. The last Edition installed is the last one you should be using to play the game....unless you are trying to use the holiday edition, and in that case it won't let you.
