Well are making a mock research paper and our group decided to have the topic "War figures" and we focused on adolf hitler and rasputin.

Most of the materials I found were all about his life. we needed to formulate our own reason. This is what we wrote:

"He caused the uprising against the monarchy through his bad influence to the people. He was also involve, through influences, in the urpising against the Romanovs through the peoples hatred."

It wasn't written well. And it repeats over and over. Please help us!
Thanks in advance. God bless you!

The close relationship between Rasputin and the Empress Alexandra exacerbated the mistrust the Russian people felt toward their
German ruler, especially when the Tsar went to the war front. Russia was at war with Germany in WW1. Welcoming a drunken peasant into the home of the Tsar while he was away was seen as scandalous. The people did not know of Alexei's illness and the reason that the family relied on Rasputin.

There are other reasons that I think Rasputin was interesting < God loves to forgive those who sin, so sin a lot>

he's a historical icon, and very important to the history of Russia right before the revolution. he had great influence over the royal family seeing as how the csarina considered him so highly. he's a very intersting and slightly spooky character in history. definitly an interesting topic. look at wikipedia.com for some info on his life and influences. he's the perfect interesting "evil" historical icon, and you can really discuss his influence in an unique way, since he wasn't officially making any decisions, yet he influenced many of them

No, none whatsoever. He was part of the royal court in Russia.
He did not serve as a soldier or leader in any of the wars.
