it depends on the place. if its a corporate type place that will actually verify everything then you might want to get your parents to sign up for you. if its a small place thats being rented by a family that won't verify then just make up something. you can always tell them the truth. since your a college student they will probably still let you in. its really not that hard to get an apartment. try to go throught all of the verifcation to buy a place and you'll see its tons more effort!

I got an apartment in college without a job at the time. I just showed my landlord a bank statement with enough savings to pay for several months of rent, and that was good enough for him. If you can show any proof that you have access to that bank account where your parents have been saving money, you might not even need to have your parents cosign the lease. The details will depend on who your landlord is, but you shouldn't have a problem.

Probably. Most American landlords expect the renter to pay and have the income to support themselves, but a parent co-signer is acceptable to some.

Landlords will really bypass off of the verifiable earnings. the money received't count number in case you may't arise with a thanks to practice it. in case you practice landlords the verifiable earnings really you'd be denied. Can your different boss furnish you with a letter or something declaring how a lot you're making? EDIT: that style of letter must be wonderful. FYI: they're in all likelihood not paying their taxes and are breaking the regulation. it truly is about the really reason employers refuse to furnish evidence of earnings. sure any & all money received counts. in case you receive SSI, baby help or something like that it would want to count number too.

as long as your parents are willing to co-sign the lease it should be no problem.
