Hero?
Saddam badly misjudged the West and he and the Iraqi people have suffered the terrible consequences. The irony is he is now a Martyr due to the botched execution. With no effective central government and an Army which most Iraqis consider to be a bad joke [and involved in killings]they cannot even carry out this task properly.
As for Bush? History will probably judge him as a failed President who wrongly took his country to an illegal war. But of course, he will turn things around with his new team/policy which he launched today [5th of Jan].......

Unfortunately, the heros of this story are the ones whom have died serving their countries and those that fight for their countries and fight on behalf of the people, in more ways then just one.
There has been much controversy around Bush administration.
There has been worries of Saddam, now executed, becoming a martyr, forcing a civil war.
There have been those who believe that Saddam's execution would demoralize the enemy and bring morale to others.
In my opinion, neither are heros. The heros are dead, dying or fighting.

Who the hell is acquainted with. the reality grew to become into so mixed up with political PR and CIA psych ops that its almost impossible to tell apart actuality from fiction. in accordance to a pair analysts he grew to become into attempting to create an oil inventory substitute that would desire to be subsidized by skill of the dinar and compete against OPEC on oil expenses and against the dollar on distant places funds substitute industry. This to me feels like the main life like and pragmatic reason. quite because of the fact the UN weapons inspectors begged Bush to no longer invade. based how cynical you're, protecting OPEC's monopoly would have additionally been the reason at the back of 9/11.

I'd say Saddam as I was reading one of Bush's quotes of the year which had something along the lines of 'The hardest part of the invasion of Iraq is proving that there were links to terrorism' something lke that anyway; I found this amusing considering all the innocent blood split over his vendetta to finish his dads work.
You've got to love destroying innocent peoples lives over such trivial matters that most were opposed to from day one.
Oil is money at the end of the day, it makes money unlike the blood of children.
