Turn off your cell phone and radio..check all 3 mirrors frequently..look over shoulder when changing lanes..use signal lights..stop behind the crosswalk, leave space between cars when stopped, and stay under the speed limit, as long as you have practiced, and you take the test on the car you are most comfortable with, you will do fine..no more parallel parking..oh joy..

I just took and passed mine about 2 mos. ago. I'm sure CA isn't much different than MI. .....all I can stress is DO NOT go over the speed limit one bit!! (I almost failed cuz he had o keep telling me that I was going over ). Also......make sure that you have all the parking maneuvers down. Here, if you can't pass the parking stuff, you can't go on the road. And one more thing, don't talk too much, don't be all stiff and nervous, and when you stop at a light or sign, MAKE SURE that you are stopped behind the sidewalk.

Don´t panic and don´t apologize for everything that goes wrong (i´m sure that´ll be nothing)
Just remember the laws of the road and keep calm or you´ll end up speedin cause of the panic. Watch out for other drivers cause there are some real jerks out there.
oh and get drunk AFTER you pass not before the test
good luck

since the majority of the test is in residential, make sure to go below 25 mph ..go like 23..also when your gonna have to park..make sure to put your blinker when you park and then when you start driving again..ALWAYS look over your shoulder like exaggerate it almost..make sure you know where your hazard lights are, and how to turn your windshield wipers..its pretty easy other than that..and if you dont pass..dont sweat it! just means more practice for you

Practice, practice, practice
If you are confident you won;t make mistakes. If you are nervous you will.
