Most of the time by themselves. Sometimes I do like onion bits in them, though. Here's something to try that my ex brother in law had me try and it sounds gross but is actually good for some odd reason. Pour bean juice over chocolate cake. Hey, if you hate it all it cost you was a piece of cake, lol.

I don't eat corn bread with my beans. I don't like it. I put chili powder in my beans and thats it. I got the chills just thinking about miracle whip.

I don't know where this started, but in my family we fix our beans with hamhocks...and when the beans are in your bowl, you add a splash (or so) of white vinegar...Gotta have the corn bread with lots of butter on the side, too...
Great, now I'm hungry for beans & corn bread...guess I'll have to fire up the crock pot in the morning...mmmmm

Well for me, since I'm from a family that loves to cook, I like mashed potatoes, crunchy chicken, corn on the cob, and a fresh salad on the side along with the ranch "THOUSAND ISLAND".
