It is one of the side effects, and it may take several cycles before you adjust and the nausea subsides. Your doctor probably told you this, but the pill raises hormone levels that mimic that of pregnancy, so it's not uncommon to feel many of the same symptoms of pregnancy (tender breasts, weight gain, nausea, etc). Just as some women experience morning sickness with pregnancy that goes away after the first three months once their bodies adjust to the hormones of pregnancy, many women find it takes a couple of months to adjust to the pill, too. Although not commonly, some women don't ever adjust and need to find other bc alternatives. I'm betting within just a few months the nausea will go away. Hope this helps!

This pill is usually prescribed to new birth control users because of the low dosage. If the nausea persists and is a distraction contact your doctor with an explanation as to what side effects you are encountering. There are many different types available. Also talk to your doctor about the dosage level in accordance to your weight. Good luck on finding a better solution.

Yes, birth control can make you sick the first few months. Try taking it at night with a full glass of milk. If it continues, talk to your doctor, you may be better off with a different level of estrogen or progesterone.

Talk to your dog about switching meds or try some home remedys like eating saltine crackers and sipping ginger ale that will help ease your stomach

Talk to the doctor who prescribed the pills. You could possibly switch to another kind that won't make you sick.
