My period is due either tomorrow or Friday. I got a shower and I checked my cervix.. I had to give a little oomph to feel it and it felt closed, and medium firmness. I know this isn't a way to detect pregnancy but could this be a good sign at all?? Has anyone checked their cervix before their period was due and it felt kind of like what I described then found out they were pregnant? I am going to test tomorrow so wish me luck! Baby dust to all!

No it's not weird, when trying to conceive, many women feel their cervix.

Um..... no that's kind of weird. And your cervix this early in pregnancy (if you were pregnant) would not be noticebly different to you. And how would you know if that's not how it's supposed to feel normally?? I would hold out for the test and not drive yourself crazy worrying about "signs." Facts work better. But good luck, hope you get a positive.

Usually pregnancy is a soft & high cervix....... Mine was like that about 6 days before my period........(low, and med. to hard)

HOW can you reach that far inside your body??
Do you have a speculum at home? I mean it even takes a doctor a bit to get there & they are at a heck of a lot better angle...
That is just weird, I don't understand why you would do that & not just test or go to the doctor.

hey darl... get your partner to have a look at it. My doc told me if your pregnant it turns a slight blueish colour.... Good luck...
