The Grand Tetons ARE gorgeous. Yellowstone is pretty interesting, you can see bison and deer near Old Faithful, which does indeed smell like rotten eggs--it is all the sulfur. There are other geysers to see as well and even along roads you can see places where small streams of steam come up. You will also see areas that seem like wastelands where the pines have died due to the geysers and heat below ground, but it is beautiful. My favorite Yellowstone place is Yellowstone Falls--they are absolutely gorgeous.

Another natural Wyoming attraction is Devil's Tower. If you like rodeo, bull-riding and country music you might want to try Cheyenne during late July and its Frontier Days.

Just a note of advice, the weather in Yellowstone and the Tetons in the summer can be unpredicable and sometimes quite cold so be prepared.

Yellowstone and Centennial (James Michener wrote about it)

Cheyenne is interesting and has a lot of good architecture.

Luxury Diner was the best and I am pretty sure it is still open.

If the Little Bear is still open then it is a lot of fun.

Little America used to be the best Hotel.

The Whipple House is really a great gourmet treat.

Laramie is nice too but none of the cities in Wyoming are very populous.

The Grand Teton National Park is supposed to be beautiful. The Grand Tetons are a mountain range. You can get more info at this web site http://www.nps.gov/grte/
Yellowstone National Park is also partially in Wyoming so it should be missed either. http://www.nps.gov/yell/

Yellowstone, Cody, Tetons, There is a big wilderness south of Jackson Hole. Jackson is where all the "in" people live.
