You'll actually have more success if you don't go for the quick mates and focus more on positional advantage. When you can do that, you'll not only beat the class Z players who would fall for those sucker mates, you'll start beating the better players.

You need to look a Bruce Pandolfini's Traps and Zaps. There is also the Scholar's Mate which is a four move mate.

If there were quick wins that worked against non-beginners, the game would be pretty pointless.

don't think about trick in beginning if you plays like this you well lost in front of good chess player.
focus in positional and how to weak them in the center & don't make move which you don't know the reason for it.
